Klonkt — open, self-hosted software for musicians.
Klonkt is software that anyone can run on their own server. Each operator runs their own independent instance and is responsible for the data on it. klonkt.com is the project's home, and license.klonkt.com is the small service that verifies Patreon supporter status. This policy explains what data those services handle.
When you choose to connect your Patreon account to unlock supporter features, our license service receives from Patreon only:
used for one purpose: to confirm whether you meet the supporter threshold. We then issue a short, signed entitlement token. We do not receive or store your email address, payment details, name, or message history. We never sell or share this data, and use no third-party trackers or advertising.
Information you give to a specific Klonkt site — an email address for a download or newsletter, a comment, or an account — is stored by that site's operator on their own server, and is governed by that operator's choices. Klonkt uses a single first-party session cookie to keep you logged in; there are no advertising or analytics cookies.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. For the Patreon connection, disconnecting in the app removes the stored entitlement. For data on a particular site, contact that site's operator. For the project services, contact us (below).
Klonkt is built by robo.burr (Robin Genis). Questions about privacy: info@robingenis.com.
